If you have a website with multiple products and a few countries, don’t toast your home page and reduce it to a logo and a “Select Country” download.

Search engines will have trouble crawling (indexing) the website, rankings will fall, revenue will decrease and everyone will feel like Monday came too soon.

Either make the country options more apparent on the real home page or make sure the new home page is filled with strategic content and links.
